Why We Screen Carefully
Your safety comes first. Plasma Energy is a cosmetic procedure, so we must ensure:
The lesion is benign
Your skin can heal safely
The treatment will give a good cosmetic outcome
This is why a free consultation is required before any procedure. While Plasma Energy is safe for most people, there are certain situations where treatment is not recommended. A consultation is always required to ensure the lesion is benign and that the treatment is appropriate for your skin.
You may NOT be suitable for Plasma Energy if you:
Have a suspicious, changing, or irregular lesion (Anything that may be cancerous must be medically assessed first.)
Are pregnant or breastfeeding Not because it is unsafe, but because cosmetic procedures are generally avoided during this time.
Have active skin infections Including cold sores, bacterial infections, fungal infections, or inflamed skin in the treatment area.
Have very dark or deeply pigmented skin (Fitzpatrick V–VI) Plasma may increase the risk of post‑inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Alternatives may be recommended.
Have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring Plasma creates a controlled wound, so those prone to abnormal scarring may not be suitable.
Have uncontrolled diabetes or poor wound healing Healing may be slower and risk of infection higher.
Are taking photosensitising medications Such as certain antibiotics, acne medications, or herbal supplements that increase sensitivity.
Are using isotretinoin (Roaccutane) or have used it within the last 6–12 months The skin is more fragile and reactive during and after treatment.
Have autoimmune skin conditions affecting the area Such as lupus, scleroderma, or active eczema/psoriasis on the treatment site.
Have metal implants or pacemakers near the treatment area (Rarely an issue, but assessed case‑by‑case.)
Have recently tanned skin or sunburn Plasma should not be performed on compromised or UV‑inflamed skin.

Plasma Energy is an advanced, non‑surgical technology that removes unwanted skin lesions with exceptional precision. It works by creating a controlled plasma arc — a tiny electrical charge that interacts with the skin’s surface. This arc sublimates the targeted tissue, meaning it transforms solid matter directly into gas. Because the tissue evaporates rather than being cut or burned, the surrounding skin remains largely undisturbed.
Why Sublimation Matters
Sublimation allows the lesion to be removed:
Without cutting
Without bleeding
Without excessive heat
With minimal trauma to surrounding tissue
This makes Plasma Energy ideal for delicate areas and for clients wanting cosmetic removal with minimal downtime.
What Happens in the Skin During Treatment
As the plasma arc touches the lesion:
The superficial tissue is vaporised instantly.
The area forms a small, dry carbon crust (a natural protective barrier).
The controlled micro‑injury activates fibroblast cells in the deeper layers of the skin.
Fibroblasts begin producing new collagen and elastin, supporting healthy tissue regeneration.
This dual action — removal + regeneration — is what makes Plasma Energy both effective and cosmetically gentle.
Why Healing Is Faster and Scarring Is Rare
Because the surrounding skin is not cut or damaged:
The body’s repair response is quick and efficient.
The carbon crust protects the area while new tissue forms underneath.
Collagen stimulation helps the skin heal smoothly, reducing the risk of scarring.
Most areas heal within 3–7 days, depending on the lesion type.
When aftercare is followed correctly, the cosmetic outcome is typically excellent.
How Electrolysis Removes Skin Tags?
Electrolysis is a precise, medical‑grade method that can safely remove skin tags by delivering a controlled electrical current directly into the base of the lesion.
A fine, sterile probe is gently inserted at the point where the skin tag attaches to the skin (the stalk). A small amount of thermolysis energy (heat) is delivered through the probe. This energy coagulates the tissue, cutting off the blood supply and weakening the attachment. The skin tag either detaches immediately or dries and falls away naturally over the following days. Because the energy is delivered with pinpoint accuracy, the surrounding skin is left undamaged, making it ideal for delicate areas.

Enhanced Healing With Tissue Repair Pro
To optimise your results, Tissue Repair Pro is included with every lesion removal procedure. This advanced post‑treatment gel is specifically formulated to:
Accelerate the skin’s natural healing response
Minimise the risk of scarring
Protect the treated area from infection
Strengthen the skin barrier during recovery
Support healthier, more resilient new tissue
By combining targeted actives with barrier‑supporting ingredients, Tissue Repair Pro ensures the treated area heals cleanly, evenly and with the best possible cosmetic outcome.
How to Use Tissue Repair Pro
To achieve optimal healing, please follow these simple steps:
Apply after a shower, when the skin is clean and dry
Use clean hands to avoid introducing bacteria
Gently wipe a thin 2mm layer of Tissue Repair Pro over the treated area
Do not rub it in — allow it to dry naturally
Once dry, apply broad‑spectrum sun protection over the top during the day
Repeat twice daily (morning and evening) until the area has fully healed
This routine helps protect the skin, reduce inflammation and support smooth, even regeneration.
